Micro-learning is an ever popular concept, a way to deliver small learning units and short-term activities to learners. With the learner being in control of what and when they’re learning.
What better way to celebrate the lead up to the festive season than signing up to one of these programs. So here’s a roundup of some of this year offerings.
12 Apps of Christmas | University of Limerick | #UL12apps
Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday starting the 20th of November, a post is published at 10am on the 12 Apps of Christmas course page. The post will contain suggestions of how to use that days app and how it might work effectively for you in a professional/learning/teaching context.
This year the 12 Apps also has travelled across the Atlantic:
12 Apps of Christmas | ETUG | #12appsBC
Explore a new app each day. Starting December 4, 2017, they will unwrAPP a new app and tell you where to get it, how to use it, and some ideas of how it might be used for teaching and learning. Each day will include a short challenge designed to give you a chance to test out the app and leave a short review in the comments.
We will continue to update this list with other ’12 apps of Christmas’ courses we find!
If you’re interested in mobile learning then why not follow along? We’re not suggesting you join in with all of them (unless you want to), but choose the one that interests you the most. Let us know which one you’re following in the comments below, and keep us posted on what you’re learning! If you spot any more ’12 apps of Christmas’ courses that we’ve not included let us know!
